Hi, I'm fairly new to digital photos and the post processing of them. I would appreciate it when you have a few minutes to spare that you can take a look at my photoblog and give me comments whether good or bad :)

I have read a number of threads on here and they are most informative, still got a lot to read and learn though yet!

thanks again
Karen

Welcome Karen. Any questions don't be afraid to ask. What we don't know, we're good at making up. :D

Welcome on board, you've got some nice pics going there, constructive crit. on some of your landscapes thay appear a tad under exposed, bit dark. IMO.

Welcome to the forum:)

Hi, and welcome - there are some nice shots in your blog :)

Thanks, I am just getting the hang of post processing on Photoshop, I found a really good tip on one of the threads in here and used it. I am going to be altering some of these shortly hopefully

I have only had the CAnon s70 a month so I am still playing about with the settings on it.

Thanks for the compliments on some of my pics thou :)

Welcome Karen, Some great shots there and some not, and a few stunners as well.

I look forward to seeing more. :)

Hopefully now I have got hold of the Dummies Guide to Photoshop, the pics should be better :)

Which were the stunners as a matter of interest?

Hello :)

I thought similar to the above when I looked at your pictures. You definitely have an eye for a shot.

There were some which are high contrast scenes which are difficult/impossible to expose correctly and need a bit of processing (such as the HDR type techniques you will see mentioned around the forum). Also a couple had the subject a bit too central and might be better composed a little differently.

I don't think I would have noticed such things before I got back into photography with my latest digital. The forum has improved my photography and I'm sure you will enjoy it here too :)

Heehee.

Not telling you.. ;)

Only joking, the first I thought was great was the blue beach/sunset one with the breaker posts thing going off towards the horizon.... there where others I’m sure, I was flicking through quite quickly....so I just can remember what and which, sorry.

I look forward to seeing your next ones though.

thanks :)
I have got over 500 pics in camera but I am struggling to find a decent one :(

Hi & welcome Karen
Storm brewing is one of the stunners for me.
You know... I am sure I saw that rastafarian sheep at the carribean music festival I went to today.
Looking forward to seeing more (photos not rastafarian sheep :) ).
