I have recently purchased a Hitech 85mm Aluminium 3 slot modular filter holder.
My concern is that a filter mounted in the first slot (nearest the lens) butts up to the aluminium frame with no clearance.
I fear that adjusting the filter in this position could cause scratching to the filter surface. The answer would be to use the second slot but the unit is sold as a three slot filter.
Has anyone found scratching to be a problem using the first slot on this holder?
