Why is it some people in this world just cannot own up to the things they have done.

Some one today tried to get pass my car whilst it was parked and have scraped it from the front wing all the way to the back wheel arch. They must have know they had do it, but not being seen decided to drive off.

I have had my Zafira for just under 2 years now, insured under wife so excess is alot and had to claim during the icy winter period, and now its going to cost me again.

I dont like the big brother state idea but in cases like this i wish there had been cameras around so i can at least find out who did it and ask if they would like to pay for there crap driving

Hmmmmm the honest, decent thing to do would be to leave a note on your windscreen

Unfortunately a lot of drivers are not honest or decent

At the end of the day its thier fault so there going to have to claim off thier own insurance anyway so its no different whether you claim of theirs also......its just counted as one claim.

Unless their car wasnt worth much (doesnt justify driving off I know) so its cheaper for them to get it fixed privately....or worse still there not insured!

When I was at uni I borrowed my dad's car (which he'd had for a week) one day during my finals and when I came back out after my exam the car had been punted 5ft up across the pavement by a bus.

The driver to give him his due reported the incident to the Police (at a station 20 miles away), but when we got his details from the Police the home address he's given was for (say) number 165, on a road that only went up to 45 and the section where the bus registration number should be was blank.....

Took a bit of research, but we eventually found the b******d though, a local resident saw him do it and noted the bus company name down, so you might be lucky if there are flats or shops near by.
