Historical images show Hiroshima, 64 years ago

Very unsettling, makes me glad that no one has used anything like it since.

I caught a documentary on it recently, the only pictures from Hiroshima itself at ground level were taken by one pro who lived there. He used his camera before breaking down at the sight of what he was seeing, and he was also upset that he wasn't able to do his job as a photographer.

He managed about 5 shots and dies about 2 months later.

What really pickles me is some of the comments. :cuckoo:

Needless to say the topic is greatly disturbing but I found comment number 481 by Ahmend from Kuwait, not only quite pertinent but thoughtful and deeply moving.

I only looked at the pictures, until I read your post.

Very moving comments :(

The pictures are overwhelming.
Thanks for the link.

Just a thought.
I have only looked at the News & Press section a couple of times or so.

Loads of entries with no replies.
If this section is not used much it may be worth puting the link in another section.

I am sure many folk would be interested in those pics.
