Hi all.
I have a small but commercial shot coming up next weekend, and am considering hiring an 'L Series' lens for the shoot. I might just be worring about nothing - maybe the pressure of aspiring to an L series is making me a bit nervious, but has anyone out there had any experience with companies like Lensesforhire.co.uk (as advertised here).
And what would be the general opinion of you guys and gals as to which lens to go for. I was considering the Canon 100-400 f4.5 IS USM.
I simply can't afford to purchase an L series outright at present, and i'm not yet sure that it would even be justified at this moment in time.
It's an outdoor game fair, mainly people shots, and some arranged group shots.
My current bag contains:
Canon 40D + BG-E2N + 430EX
Canon 50mm f1.8 II
Sigma 10-20 (lovely)
Sigma 17-70 f2.8 DC Macro
Canon 17-85 IS USM
Canon 70-300 IS USM
Tamron 70-300 Di LD Macro
Comments and suggestions would be very much appreciated as I step deeper into small but nevertheless 'commercial' work.
ps - this forum is great - glad I found you.
