Hiring camera bodies?

I'm looking to hire a 5D mk2/3 in September, and I was wondering who you guys have used before and would recommend?

The lenses will be coming from lensesforhire.co.uk, it's the only logical choice as far as I'm concerned, I'm just in need of a 5D!

AFAIK you cant hire camera bodies. I contacted LFH about this and they only do lenses.

Shame as being able to hire a 2nd body for one-off occasions would be really handy

You can hire bodies from most branches of Jacobs.

offer camera rentals, although there are hoops to go through before your first rental

Fixation would be a slight pain because they ask for it to be picked up if it's a first time hire. I've got no problems with the ID side of things, I'm a real person wanting to hire a camera for a legitimate purpose, with every intent of returning it when I'm done!

I'd suggest googling for customer experiences of Hirental, and their predecessor organization Camerent, before committing to using them.

Personally I'd always use Hire A Camera if I wanted to hire a camera.

I think the clue is in the name of Stewart's company - Lenses For Hire

Would lenses for hire ever consider stocking a few of the most popular bodies? I hired a lens from there last year and would have no hesitation on using them again!

Stuart's service is indeed superb, a little more difficult with bodies I'd suggest Calumet is the safe option if the event is critical.
