After 6 years together, I finally proposed to my girlfriend just before xmas. We don't want to hang about so we're now getting stuck into planning the big day (the joy :bang: )
We're not doing bad so far. We've got the venue, registrar and caterers booked and deposits paid. The big day will be 6th july next year
Anyway, having an interest in photography, my thoughts are now turning toward hiring a tog to capture the day. The venue is pretty grand to say the least and will offer some fantastic photographic opportunities, so naturally we want someone who will do a proper job and also make the most of the venue. Needless to say though (without wanting to sound tight) we don't want to be ripped off.
Can anyone give me any advice on how to find a decent wedding photographer in the North Yorkshire area, or maybe even recommend one?
Short of that, is it just a case of trawling the internet and viewing portfolios?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance
