Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum so excuse me if I am posting to the wrong forum.

30 years ago I used to sell large B&W prints of my photographs, www.peteloud.co.uk/photos/

I then gave up photography until 18 months ago and have now returned to it. I still get approached by people wanting to buy prints from me but I can't be bothered to set up a dark room again so have scanned my old images. I have tried having prints done digitally but they are not good enough. The blacks are not crisp & black enough etc.

Can anyone tell me where I can get high quality printing of digital images. I am not interested in the consumer photo printing companies. Recently I have been paying £35 per square metre to a commercial printer who did a good job with colour prints but the B&W were not good enough :-(

Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Pete

I've not used Peak but I've heard good things about them.

I use Loxley now and I'm really impressed with the quality and the customer service. They're about twice the price of Photobox but for pro quality prints I think they are worth it. I've only had digital files printed but they take film too if you don't want to send the scans.
