I'm planning on going to High Force for the first time next Monday:woot: It's only 88miles away :(

Might park at Low Force and walk up to High Force. Hopefully I'll get some good pics. If anyone has any tips, let me know :)

It's a lovely spot, I've shot it a couple of times, but I don't see a lot of different compositions from there posted much. Gives you chance to put your own stamp on it.
The Autumn colours should be good there next week. I'd say morning to shoot high force would be favourable, and low force slightly later on in the day. This way, the sun should be behind you to pick up the Autumn colours on the trees.

Found out that you cannot walk on both sides of river between Low and High Force.

Just planning my route to take to the waterfall. There's a couple of places that I might go to along the way or coming back - Egglestone Abbey and the huge architectural building, Bowes Museum.

Photos to follow, should be up on Flickr and/or 500px by tomorrow evening or Tuesday
