Hidden Menus in CS3

My menus in cs3 have suddenly got a hidden menu bit on the bottom and i have to open this to do everyday tasks. how do i turn it back to normal and have all the menu lists showing all the time?
 
Edit > Menus
There is an option there for each one to hide or unhide
 
Thanks. but does that mean i have to do each one separately.. there are loads... and I didnt turn them off as Ive never been into there. cant i do it globally and turn them all on?
 
What! you have something better to do??? :)

Looks like you need to do them one at a time... unless someone knows different??
 
i wonder how they got turned off? i certainly didnt do it!!
must be a photoshop gremlin!! :D
 
Sussed it!!! :D

top bar over towards the right says WORKSPACE. I had clicked on BASIC workspace which hides some of the menus!
 
I was going to suggest the workspace thingy, glad you got it sorted :)
 
Does anyone use the workspace options?
I just have mine set to how I like it, all but the essential tools / palettes minimized etc, and work everything that way.

Does anyone use different workspaces for different tasks?
 
I like it as it is...never tried to make my own workspace...although having said that, I now realise that I click off some of the pallettes each time I use it so I should really save my workspace doh!!!
