Hidden Gem Found...

My husband was going through the garage today, looking for some fishing equipment for my brother...when he came across another of my dad's tripods. Turns out it is a Velbon VGB-3 tripod with a Manfrotto Model #128 head... Well, I wanted something sturdy to take my new lens and this thing is a beast! Its a bit heavy to be fair but it should do the job well and truly, saving me having to splash out over £100 on something else for the foreseeable future...

Anyone else know much about this tripod body or the particular manfrotto head?

Best bet would be to Google those models and see if the pics match what you've got Then you might see some reviews or something if that's what you're looking for.
