I have been taking photos for some years, got into digital about 8 years ago with a P&S.
I like to think that my shots are a bit more than snapshots - but only just :)
I got a D40 about 6 months ago and I am trying to get the best from it.
I have posted on a different, friendly forum but it is a bit like a mutual admiration society. I think I need more C&C.
I have the 18-55 kit lens and the 55-200 VR with an SB400 flash, I was going to get the SB600 but the 400 was a pressie.

Erm... too much angle, horizon is wonky, oof, overexposed, and too noisy.

oh wait, you haven't posted a pic yet. Ah well, it's a taste of what to expect no doubt. :D
