I believe I'm termed as a 'lurker'.
Generally I don't post to forums because I find them volatile and I'm the shy/fragile type.

I have posted a couple on my profile page to start.
I apologise in advance if I don't respond or appear ignorant (I'm really not), I just find myself writing and re-writing comments so those reading them will take them as they're offered and not 'read between lines'.

(This particular comment has taken 4 re-writes and I guarantee I'll wish I'd made another edit)

There are some folk (not many) who could pick an argument about the most innocuous comment.
We've taken thousands of years getting the hang of looking at each other and talking, its not surprising we are still getting used to textual communications.
