I'm new to this forum and digital photography so please get
set for some stupid questions :|
I was keen on film photography many years ago but haven't
used a camera for years, so will have a lot to learn.
I like in Co Down Northern Ireland and used to have an interest
in landscapes and always admired the work of Ansel Adams.
 
As they say, there's no such thing as a stupid question, especially round here :thumbs: so ask away :thumbs:

You have the advantage of living in a wonderful part of the world :D so plenty of landscapes for you to shoot :woot:
 
Welcome to TP - You've certainly come to the right place to get help and advice from friendly folk! As Matthew has said no question is a stupid question. Post some of your pics up for comments / crit and you'll be well on your way in no time!!

As already said, we really are a friendly bunch so please don't be afraid to jump in with any questions.
You may find the Talk Basics section useful as a starting point to browse through and ask any questions of your own.

There's also a very active Landscapes and Scenery sub forum if you need some inspiration or would like to post some of your own images for feedback and advice.
 
Thanks for the welcome folks.
I don't think I will be posting very many
photos just yet but I'm having a good look
at some of the superb posts for inspiration.
