Just joined today! Moved back to Glasgow after 7 years in Soho and London. Interested in photography and getting to grips with it slowly!

Just bought an EOS400D + lens kit (although I've heard the kit lens is pretty poor?) with a Tamron 70-300mm F4/5.6 DI LD Macro (Canon AF) lens also.

Just learnt the basics on apertures but hoping to learn a lot more.

The kit lens isnt the best lens out then for the price it wouldnt be, it still gives great images though and I still use mine even though I have got expensive glass that covers the same range.
