Hi I'm Andrew ,
I'm based in New Zealand and have been in the photgraphy industry since 1981 , but still learning , I took a few years off due to disability ,but for the last few years have been re establishing myself , as it was unrealistic to think I could continue from where I left off, it was a case of starting from scratch all over again , and as I am tetraplegic and in a wheelchair it's been a challenge to be taken seriously with people looking at my disability rather than ability .
I hope we can all learn something from each other and encourage rather than discourage others .
I know there are some other people with disabilities on the forum and would like to encourage them to realize that in many area's of photography they have the ability to become just as competitive ,good at their craft and professional as non disabled photographers if that is what they choose to do.
