Hi,
I originally became interested in photography when I was in school but was never any good at the developing images side and so I never really pursued it.
Then along came digital. I've had a normal digital camera for a number of years and it helped to reignite my interest.
About 18 months ago I took the plunge and bought my first digital SLR camera. A Canon EOS 1000D and I've been enjoying getting to know it ever since.
I've been mainly taking shots of landscapes and places like Wrest Park. One of my most recent visits was to Lyvenden Van Bield.
That said I am interested in doing and learning some different types and styles of photography as well. I just felt that landscapes and places was a good starting point.
My next purchases and going to be a tripod, a telephoto lens (possibly with soft focus) and a wireless remote shutter release. Not necessarily in that order.
I'm keen to learn and welcome constructive feedback both good and bad.
