Hi I'm Mike, I just wanted to pop in and say hi.

I'm quite new to photography, having had a Fujifilm Finepix s2970 bridge camera since Christmas and varying degrees of success with using it. I'm aiming to upgrade to a DSLR within the next year, but I have plenty still to learn before doing this.

Today the SO wisely suggested joining a photography forum so here I am!
