first post (of many!) on the forum.
Got my first DSLR for Christmas and cant wait to apply the stuff I've learnt without actually owning a DSLR to a real one.
I'm studying Maths, Politics and Photography A levels right now
Till now, I was using a Samsung S1030 and Canon Powershot something, but now I've got a Canon 1100D.
Do we think its a good buy? I originally wanted the Nikon D3100 but it seems there are none left. Oh well, I'm really happy with the Canon and I just tried the EOS utility software and controlled the camera via the PC. WIN! I didnt even know about this feature despite my long research lol.
