Hi,
I am based in Hampshire, UK and just bought my first Digital SLR camera, first SLR of any kind in fact, which i bought over in the states the model is a Canon T3i which i believe is the 600D over here in the UK. When I bought it i also got a 55-250 Canon lens. The holiday gave me a good chance to test it out and play around with some of the settings, but now I am back I really want learn now to use it properly, and that's what brought me here!
I also own a Panasonic DMC-FT2 which I love been able to stick in water and is pretty durable, so I think this will still get a lot of use.
Seems like a nice place and have learnt lots already from reading quite a few posts and that led me to signing up.
I have setup a flickr account and will hopefully get that up and going soon.

The main problem I am finding at the moment is now to organize my photos, undecided as whether to orangise by date and location (i.e Zoo March 21st 2011) or to oraganise in catagories (i.e plants->Flowers->Macros).
