Bought my first DSLR (D3100) in Feb so joined up hoping to pick up some tips on technique and equipment. Have some experience with film SLRs years ago so know the basics (aperture, shutter speed. DoF etc) but never got beyond enthusiastic amateur. Bought a 35mm 1.8 a couple of months ago and am now saving up for either a sigma 70-200 or decent Nikon flash
