First post after a few weeks of lurking.....always had a passing interest in photography after trailing around behind my Dad when I was young (he was always out snapping away at local wildlife).
Took plunge and bought a Canon EOS 500D kit from Jessops around New Year time.....still a complete beginner but slowly learning about the camera.

Looks like there is loads to learn on here...time will tell if it sinks in or not
