Just thought i'd drop by and say hi to everyone.

My names Lisa-Giselle, 18 years old from Bradford.
Been doing photography for about 4 years now, just finished a 2 year course at college. Didnt really learn as much as i'd hoped to, so i will have plenty of questions, which is why i'm here.

snap--just upgraded from a Nikon D40 to a D5000 several weeks ago

I sold the D40 kit lens - 18-55 AF-S DX - and bought a Sigma 17-70mm f2.8 - very pleased and a great walk-about lens

it does make the D5000 a little front-heavy so added a Hahnel battery grip

also recently got a Nikon F3 in mint condition, and a mint 50mm f2 from here - makes a lovely combination - got some film tonight - hope to get out after the weekend...!!

Hi Lisa and welcome from a fellow noob.

I'm hoping to do the BFP "Shoot & Sell" course, maybe it's worth you having a look at it too? BFP Shoot & Sell Freelance Photography Course
