Evening everyone

I've just joined your fab site - lots of info and great advice on here!
I've always loved taking photos since I was little (a long time ago now!), but have just this week bought myself my first 'proper' camera - a Nikon D40X. My previous camera was a compact - Samsung Digimax A7 which I loved (and still do!). Trying to get to grips with the whole DSLR thing now! Looking forward to getting some helpful advice from you knowledgeable people!
