Hi all

Been signed up here for ages, but never posted a thing, so thought I should change all that.

So here I am, I live in Rushden, Northants. I have a love of all things photography, and am lucky enough to use a camera for my job :)

Welocome Nathan and your post is perfect timimg as I have to take my daughter to an interview in Irthlingborough next week and any advice of somewhere to go and take photographs in Northamptonshire would be much appreciated

A couple of places that spring to mind

Stanwick Lakes, lovely walks, very close to irthlingborough

Dont know if there will be anything on here, but again very close. Never been myself but looks like fun

Only 25 minute drive away, less likely to be anything on during the week, and will have to pay to get in

I often go for a wander around Radwell Pits / Lakes

Very nice setting probably 30 minute drive from Irthlingborough, worth it if the weather is nice.

Finally for now is Castle Ashby, a beautiful little village, probably about 35 minute drive. Dont know if you can get to the Castle just for a wander round though
