Hello all, my father freelanced for Motorsport back in the mists of time and I was dumped in my pram in the middle of most race tracks most week ends. Don't remember of course!
I grew up with a camera in my face, seemed like all the time!
Years ago I had a Makinon SLR with loads of lenses etc. I went from that to a compact and a Bridge, then went off the boil completely! I bought myself a Pentax K-7 but I find it all a bit to much to learn now!
So my Pentax is up for sale and my Panasonic Bridge FZ38 and I'm going to treat myself to a Panasonic FZ200! That will do all I need, as the old Panasonic does so I know the newer one will!
Any feedback on any of that is welcome. Thanks.

Welcome to TP, Amanda.

Perhaps give a bit more thought to persevering with the K7. Good luck.

 Welcome aboard Amanda and good to have you here.

I think the most important thing in choosing kit is to get something that suits you and does what you need it to do. I'd echo what Dougie says though, before committing to selling up and moving on make sure that you're 100% sure you don't want to persevere with what you have.

Best of luck with whatever you choose to do, and plenty of help & advice on hand around here if you need it.
