Just thought I'd quickly introduce myself.

I've just taken early retirement and now started to get back into photography after something like a 15 year break. Anyway, approx 18 months ago I bought myself a Nikon D80 and after leaving it on 'Auto' from the day I bought it I decided that I ought to move on and get to know this camera and it's capabilities more. So, since June this year I have been on a couple of '1-day' courses which has helped me tremendously in getting to grips with the camera and I'm now off the 'Auto' mode. Wow...... time has certainly changed since using my Pentax ME Super all those years ago!

What I'm now doing is considering what to do next and browsing on the net I've come across www.schoolofphotography.com who run an interesting Landscape photography course. Does anyone have any experience of this course or has there been a thread on this forum that could help me with a decision regarding this particular or any other online courses. Thanks, Pete156

Hey Pete! Welcome. There are loads of course out there, but nothing beats just getting out there and taking pictures of anything and everything! Remember you can always delete the rubbish ones (once you have figured out why!!!). There are loads of tutorial on here and in case refer back to your manual. I spent the first month sat on the sofa ticking off pages as I went through - gave me loads of confidence and saved me loads!
