Hi guys, Scott Mitchell here!

I'm pretty new to photography, and am currently awaiting delivery of a Canon EOS 550d, arrives tomorrow.

I've always had a hankering for a DSLR, and you'll have to ignore, or at least excuse my ignorance in the coming months, as I've a lot to learn. I borrowed a friends' 400d for a few weeks, and got a few decent pics, and am looking to get better, of course. I'll try and get them uploaded.

Personally, I'm a VW nutcase, you may or not recognise the username from VW forums, but have been finally inspired to take the plunge by a mate, dseered, and Michael Bosanko or light graffiti fame. I've not had a look around the site yet, but I'm sure at least a few of you will have heard of him. He did a couple of commissions for us with our dubs in, I'll post them up after they've been uploaded.

Anyway, I'm rambling now, so hello everyone, and I'll try and learn quickly!
