Hiya All

Just looking at the forum and thought id join.

Me and the Wife are after getting a DSLR after Xmas, we are disapointed with a basic camera and what to get a decent camera and learn to get some great shots.

Does anyone in the Notts/Derby area no of any good camera shops. to get a feel of some cameras, been looking at Canon, mainly but Nikons are also considered. around £400 we are looking at.

Cannot help you with the shops, but you are doing the right thing planning to get a feel of cameras before buying.

Once you have done that it may be worth while taking a look at the Shopping, Suppliers & Bargains forum. There you can read about members good and bad experiences with dealers.

As above, good idea you have there, get a feel of the camera. Also worth noting not only get a feel for taking pictures, but also for the menus and all the buttons etc etc.

Always been into Photography but now i need to get a better camera and get some good shots, looking at the photos posted on here really makes me wnat to get no with it.

Was told about here from someone on Detailing World.

Im prob going to be doing MotorSport and the wife will want the wildlife and Landscapes. and get some really nice shots of our toddler as well.
