Well I have been an enthusiastic amateur for more years than I care to remember starting with a manual Pentax then onto an electronic Pentax, with an interest in macro so I have extention tubes reversing rings and bellows but also an interest in astrophotography which I have now decided to indulge by buying a telescope to do that. I am now going into the world of DSLR and am sticking with Pentax mainly because the cameras are backwards compatible, so my lenses are still OK to use. I am going to buy a K m as it seems to be the best of the starters so anyone got any thoughts regards this camera. Hope to be able to contribute to the forum if I can but hope to gain more knowledge along the way as well

would love to put some work up but will need to digitize my slides first and that will be a mammoth task. also need to purchase a slide scanner but we shall see what father christmas brings
