Hi there guys

I'm Ryan, 24 and a Design Engineer for General Motors @ Millbrook Proving Ground. Ironic that I love taking pictures yet I work somewhere where cameras are banned!

I'm trying to move up a band in my photography and have been looking into the EOS 450D but I've gotten myself in more of a pickle now I've seen the Fuji S100fs non SLR camera.

So I've come to read up and ask for help on them. Hope to get to know you guys better

Thanks for the warm welcome people. Mr. Flash, yeah it's a pretty cool place to work. You get to see quite a lot of interesting stuff, sadly a lot of great photo opportunities. They're testing out an AWD Mid Engined Vauxhall Corsa Rally Car at the moment, it's all I can hear from my office lol
 
They seem to film a few adverts etc there too, there is one particular sweeping bend that crops up all the time.....

You can use a camera in the impact centre :) I had an interview there a year ago for a crash photographer (job was withdrawn in the end which was a shame because i love taking pictures of cars crashing where no one gets hurt :) )

AndrewC, yeah I had the pleasure of using a number of high performance GM vehicles around the Alpine route recently, including a Z06 Corvette. Now that, on that course, was special!

Mr. Badger, you can use a camera anywhere on site if you're supervised by Millbrook Security or you're job requires it. External memory is prohibited so theoretically you shouldn't be able to get pictures off site.
