Having spent a good few days trawling through the fantastic advice on here, I thought it was time I posted to introduce!
I did dabble in photography a few years ago, but then let if fall by the wayside, so consider myself a complete newbie. I've just bought myself a D70 with an 18-55mm VR lens to get me started, and today was my first day out taking a couple of test shots - and also my first attempt at tweaking the results.
The irony is, by trade I'm a buyer/product manager for a large electrical retailer - and I buy our photographic equipment!
Yet I know next to nothing about actually using it...something which needs to change.
Will post up a couple of shots from today, and what I've done with them, to see what you folk think.
