Dear All
Just a quickie to inntroduce myself.
I'm Gary, a keen shooter for the past 5 or so years. I got into photography the "hard way" in some regards by spotting flittly little birds during family walks themn trying to shoot them (in a photographic sense) to aid identification. I'm sure all know that wildlife photography is fairly time and gear intensive so it was very much in-at-the-deep-end.
I now shoot weddings, gigs, familly, plus lots of other stuff, as well as wildlife.
FWIW, I use Canon gear and have acquired quite a nice collection of bodies and lenses so may be able to offer advice on the pros and cons of such stuff should anyone be interested ?
Most importantly, I'm here to learn as well.
Like most, I can see huge room for improvement in my images. As my friends say I have "all the gear but no idea" - harsh IMHO.
Look forward to catching up with forum matters and, hopefully, chipping in as well.
Wishing all at TP a jolly, merry Christmas and happy shooting in 2011.
Gary
