Hi all.
I'm Andy, I am a retired chap, ex Forces. Biker and amatuer photographer. Just started to rekindle an old passion. I used to take photos with my Dad's old Pentax 35mm film camera in the 80's and then again in the 2000's with my first digital cameras ( Fujifilm s5000) and then in the period 2012 to 18 with my old faithfull Lumix G10. Now I have bought myself an old retro Canon 40D to rekindle my passion.

I hope I have found a good place to learn and share my passion for photography.

I will echo what @lindsay says and enjoy your return to photography and your membership here.

The Canon 40D is a good 'un I had one for a while a few years back and IMO it had the best sensor in its day. Low noise smooth raw files in a body with very capable AF
