Only found this forum today and could not see a 'New Thread' button till I found the welcome section. Only had film SLR's and digital compacts before. Just ordered a Nikon D7000 + 18 - 105 mm kit from Jessops.

I shot film for years and got some very lukewarm shots back from developers,
Moved over to DSLR a few years ago and NEVER BL##DY REGRETED IT.
