The application form asks for details of equipment owned. I felt a bit of a fraud as i kept entering NONE.
Actually i do own a lens, a 1;4 converter, and one monopod.
One pristine F series 200-400 f4
I gave up stills photography when digital arrived and apart from frequent use of a small camcorder i had no interest in returning to full frame. Its just amazing how a 1/2.5inch sensor expands onto a 55inch tv screen. With the massive drop in the cost of second hand F lenses. i made my lens purchase. Now for a camera. The camera choice would have been a D850 as recomended by a user. Then i discovered the existence of mirrorless cameras ( yes, i was in a time warp).I now am leaning toward a Z6II due to its fast focusing. Endless funds not being available, i have no intention on climbing further up the Z series chain.....and of course i also have to purchase the Nikon FTZ adaptor. My hobie is video filming water sport these days, and so it seems that this camera should be suitable. I have read so much that my head is spinning. I have no wish to use a tripod, just a monopod, especially when videoing surfers. Do any of you readers care to share your experience with this lens camera setup. tyia.
