Hi... I am new here so thought I'd say hi! I have actually already posted a question, but wanted to introduce my self properly!

I have just got in to photography after my partner upgraded his Nikon D7000 to a D800 and he donated the D7000 to me. I love it. Photography is so much fun and love the excitement it gives when you get that shot!!

I want to get into sports photography, mainly within the horse sports and so far have had good comments about my pics.

I'm sure I will asking plenty of questions!!

Hi Emma, welcome to the forums.

The D7000 is a great camera, especially to start off with, it should serve you well for quite a while especially considering your interests are sports.

It would be great to see some example of your shots in the comments & critique sections, and maybe some working professionals may be able to give you some feedback on them and point you in the right direction on how to improve :thumbs:
 
Hi, thanks for the welcome! Once I have my laptop sorted (old one just got written off) I will put some pics of my work so far on here. I would love some guidance and any pointers!
