Hi there i am thinking about being a photographer. But i don't know what area i really want to go into.

I did some research and found a local photographer, Devon http://rcl-photography.com/index.php who does business with Wedding Photography. I checked out these prices and there seems to be a lot of money in it. But i don't know that compared to working for a newspaper etc as i don't know their paying rate.

What i am basically asking is what did you go into and hows is the pay?

Very few people on here actually earn a living from photography.

Wedding photography is not a get rich quick scheme .... You may need to spend a lot of time and money getting to the stage of earning a good living.

:welcome: It might seem like there is a lot of money in wedding photograhy, until you have to buy the proper gear rather than thinking you can do it with a £100 Casio ;)
