I am not sure how I get my images critiqued but I have put some in my new gallery and welcome any comments

:welcome: Brenda, If you want your images critiqued you need to upload them to host site like Flickr or photobucket then you copy the direct link and paste it into the "insert image" box on this site. The insert image button is the little square yellow icon just above where you write your post, it looks like a small landscape with a mountain and a little star then click ok. Be sure to hit return a couple of times between images so they dont stick together.

I have 25,000 images for sale on the internet but none on Flicker as I feel they can be ripped off from there. I have tended to think that because an image sells it is successful, but are they good photographs that can stand up to criticism from my peers

Hi Brenda, welcome to the forum

If you look down the forum pages, you will see the photosharing and feedback areas, split into various genre/sections. If you start a new thread in an appropriate area, you can paste the URL from the pictures you have already posted here in your gallery [look underneath the pictures, and make sure you choose the full size URL rather than the thumbnail version] and then we can view and offer constructive feedback on the pictures :thumbs:

Lol i must admit if i were you and the photos were selling i wouldn't think they needed critiquing. 25,000 images is too many for them all to be world class stunners (only guessing mind you ,maybe you're a super togger) its the law of averages. On the same note with 25,000 images your bound to have a few world class stunners, plus you have the human factor of personal taste.

Id stick to the idea that if they're selling they are successfull personally, id love too see your best sellers...if you're worried they get ripped of just plaster it with a watermark.

I have been a travel photographer for 30 years but never had the confidence to be criticised. So I am a newbie to that and I must say I am nervous about it
 
I think it's 'critiqued' and not 'criticized, but I know exactly what you mean. But you must have some fantastic images among your 25,000. And if you just want to share them, without critique, post them in General Photo Sharing.

General photosharing is still an area for critique and feedback, its just means for pictures that dont comfortably fit into other more specific photo sharing sections. :)

I have put 6 images on general photo sharing, don't be too hard on me I am only a little old lady !!
 
I've just looked at your images very quickly, on my phone, and you've nothing to fear! Welcome to TP.

Thanks for the welcome and the comments so far. I have removed No 1 as I had put up the wrong image.I have put more up images. One in Birds and 2 more in General sharing. Please feel free to comment if you wish
