I've been mooching around the site for a few weeks and now joined up.

I've been playing with photography for a little while and have done a bit of wildlife, landscape and now I'm doing the match photos for the local football team.

I have a fair amount of kit which I tend to add to on a regular basis depending if SWMBO is looking or not.

I'm going to have a go at macro photography as this is something I've not tried. Just ordered a Raynox to have a crack at it on a budget.

I'll be asking plenty of questions and probably showing myself up with one or two of them, but I'm thick skinned and will put up with the abuse! :wave:

My camera is the EOS600d, but I'm currently looking at the EOS6d, just got to slide it past my good lady.

Anyway, enough for the moment and I'll be getting onto the forums very soon along with some pics!

In response to this, I have started taking the match photos of the local Evo-Stick football team. Covered 3 games so far and done the official website photos of the players. Had an absolute 'mare with photographing under floodlights and at that point realised my kit just isn't up to the standard for evening pictures. But, that is the way it goes. I do it as a favor so won't be shelling out on a 70-200mm F/2.8 that is for sure... Missus has immediately put a block on that.

The other football photos I took were of the U12's tour in Holland, learnt a lot from that trip...:beer:
