Hello to everyone. I see lots of people have joined today so I wont keep you long! I've recently taken early retirement & know nothing technically about photography but start a course shortly. I use a Nikon D100 & shoot RAW & have Photoshop 5 Limited Edition from about 5yrs ago & which I've never opened until today! The P'shop help file will not work in Vista and the file which Windows said would resolve the issue doesn't! I'll sort that out later but for now I have a couple of pics that I've been asked to submit & which should be saved to P'shop level 10 or 12. I'm sorry to say I've no idea if I'm saving to any partic. level - can anyone explain in Fen or other easy to understand language how to achieve that?

My first version of PS was 7 some years ago, so no experience of 5.
However, I'd be surprised if it didn't all run properly under XP.
Perhaps you could dual-boot Vista & XP?
