Hi all, i'm Nick from the midlands and have been 'into photography' for 9months or so. I currently have a Canon 550d with kit lens, Canon 55-250, Canon 50mm f1.8, Canon 28-135 usm and a Canon 17-85 usm. I also have a Panasonic tz10 on compact duties. Would dearly love some L glass but it's out of my budget. However, i'm sure my technique gets better as time goes on, resulting in better pictures......he says confidently! :D

Anyway, just wanted to say hi. :)

What part on the Midlands are you from? Don't forget to look out for the regular TP Meets we have in the area :thumbs:

I've just joined TP and have been looking at the Canon 550d as my 1st DSLR, how do you find it?

@ Matthew....I'm in Burntwood near Cannock.....I will indeed keep an eye out for West Midlands meets. :)

@ Justin.... I find the 550d massively exceed my expectations. It's plenty enough camera for me, and I can't recommend it enough.
