I've been browsing these forums for a little while (only a week or so) and thought I should join up.
What a great site! It's full of useful info.
I particularly like the Classifieds section - tempting me to spend my monies.
I currently own a Canon 30D.
I'm in need of an upgrade really, but the 30D does still produce great results.
I have a small selection of lenses:
Canon 18-55m Kit lens
Canon 50mm Mk2 F1.8
Canon 70-300mm IS USM
The 50mm lives on the camera most of the time.
I'm currently in the process of buying selling the kit lens (might not get much ***!) and the 70-300mm.
I'm mainly a hobbyist, but I do get occasional paid jobs - mostly weddings.
I use the 50mm mainly for my jobs, but even the 70-300 has come in useful, but I need to change my lenses really to maximise my efficiency during a shoot, but without compromising picture quality (Really dont want a superzoom).
I'm after a Canon 85mm (F1.8) and a Canon 10-22mm lens....
Well, that's my wish list for now
I keep putting the pennies away.
I'm just getting into 'off camera lighting', but only the flash based stuff, no studio equipment at the moment.
That's about it really.
