Hi everyone. I grew up in Scotland, lived in Hong Kong for a few years, and have been in SA since 1980. I've been back to the UK a couple of times in the last year, after a 20 year gap, and I'm returning for good in a month or so. My wife has a cottage in SW Scotland and I'm looking forward to it.

I'm amateur, mainly interested in travel, historic places and wildlife photography.

Small world Graham. I'm in Johannesburg, and my mother lives in Durban, but I have a distant relative in Redhill. haven't seen her for donkey's years, but we spoke on the phone when I was in the UK in January. Redhill is south of London, and you get the train from Victoria, as far as I can remember?

Thanks everyone, I appreciate this. My wife is flying to SA for the last couple of weeks, and I should be back in the UK (Scotland) in about a month.
