Hi all.

Just to introduce myself. I am Pete, live in South Somerset and have finally got round to buying a decent camera, a Nikon D3200.

Living in this part of the world we have some nice scenery, so i hope to learn a bit about landscapes etc.

Welcome to the forum from another South Somerset member. Plenty of landscape around so get out there shooting it and I look forward to seeing your take on it. You'll find plenty of advice here and if you don't want to take the plunge with your own work too soon you can learn plenty by just looking and reading, though I guess you're already doing that.

That is what i am doing, going through the posts and the questions to learn the basics before posting some of my shots.

Welcome to the forum. I used to work in Misterton near Crewkerne. Its about 30mins drive from me, or 20mins ride ;) Never done any photography in the neck of the woods so looking forward to seeing your pics. :)
 
Hi Pete and welcome to TP - Used to hail from Somerset myself, moved a little since then but I still get back there every 4 months.
