Hi from Sheffield - New to photography

Hi all,
I'm Mark, 25 from Sheffield - South Yorkshire.
I have had a desire to get into photography for many years but have never been able to afford a camera

Anyway I've recently bought a Canon EOS 100D as my first start up camera and have been out having a fiddle - still haven't a clue as to what I'm doing but think I'm starting to get a little bit used to the options (emphasis on little!!)

Here's a few of my first half decent pics (unedited as I don't know how to use photoshop or anything (yes I will be trawling for tips!)...

You've started with the most difficult - night photography! I like the first two, very strong images (although Photoshop will correct the perspective in the second!) Not sure about the bottom two - I'd definitely be looking at adjusting the colours in the fountain one. But so far, not so bad!

I did take some daytime shots but they were rubbish! Hoping to get out this weekend to take some nice landscapes - weather permitting!
The fountain was lit up with green lights, I want to go back there in the daylight as there are a few bigger fountains and waterfalls that I want to try shooting
