Hi all, I've been dabbling in photography since 1996 but really got the bug with my Canon EOS 450D in 2008 with the arrival of my first baby. Since then I've made a few changes to my camera bag with the latest impulse purchase of my Makro lens two weeks ago!!!

I've come in search of advice so I'm off to investigate the forums. I look forward to sharing information and stealing tips ;-)

I know an old excuse, but I'm tired! I do know how to spell honestly!

Now is there a quick way (other than subscribing) to find out about new replies to your threads? I frequent a patenting forum and there's a handy little link that says 'show new replies to your posts'

Is there one like that here?

Sorry if this is not the place to ask but how do I upload a photo? Not in this thread obviously.

if you're on the iphone you'll need to use an app such as flickr or p'bucket and link from there. same issue on the ipad.

There is gallery space on here. Photos have to be less than 800px longest side and less than 200k. Click on your user name and then "view gallery" (left side near send message) then "upload photos" (far right). When the photo is uploaded copy and paste the image link (below the photo) into your post. May be an easier way, but that's how I do it! Don't forget to sharpen after you have resized the pic in PS.
