Hi everyone,
I live in Oxford and I decided to get a DSLR about two years ago when I went to Silverstone for the British grand prix. My little IXUS 850 wasn't going to cut it, so I got a Canon 550D with the 18-55mm kit lens and their 70-300mm and learnt a lot in a very short space of time!
I recently updated to a Canon 5D mk3 (thanks to a hefty discount from someone I know at Canon!!) and I've now got the 24-105mm, 16-35mm and 100mmL macro lens to go with it. All the gear, no idea, that's me
But it's a hobby I'm enjoying a lot and the upgrade alleviated a lot of my frustrations with the quality of images I was getting with the 550.
I'll shoot anything. Motor racing if I can afford to go, a bit of wildlife, insects, pics of some equipment at work for their web site, what ever takes my fancy really.
Looking forward to reading and learning a lot on here. Looks great.
