hi folks,
My name is Lee, I'm 24 and have been a massive photography fan for a good few years now.I live with my partner(not yet married) who is six years my senior. I'm currently a student at college (just finished) and will be going to uni in september to study either radiotherapy and oncology or dental therapy (too many choices!!) but I work as A DJ part time and take the odd wedding photo booking if it suits me.
I currently own a canon eos 5000n (film) and a canon 350d
i have two zoom lenses 28 - 80 and 75-300 and I have just invested in a 580ex II flash unit (which came today!)
My next investment will be of better quality lenses as the ones I have at the moment are pretty shocking to be honest but I have a couple of weddings booked in soon so I will be using profits from these to upgrade my lenses, following this I am hoping to upgrade to either 40/50d or 4/5D (or equivalent by the time I saved some pennies)
so....what are my areas of interest?
to be honest I'll give everything a go. no matter what (that includes when my freind asked me to take some pictures of him mountain climbing....we were up mount snowdon for a few days!) I'm shooting macro at the moment as a new area to discover for myself and have a play around with and you will often see the very occasional photo of my german boxer (9 month old) and more scarcely my cat (mongrel thing found in a car engine bay which we rescued from the vets)
hope thats enough info from me so you can all get a good idea of who I am and I will get a few shots up for you all to see some things I have done!
