Hi Guys,

I wanted to say hello from Manchester! I'm hoping to meet other togs from around Manchester.
I have been into photography for 10 years, but not done much. Hoping to gain some skills not only from the forum but any trips or meets.

I currently own a Sony a350, before i bought this 4 years ago i had a yashica fx d and 103, and a cannon eos.

I would like to start using IR film, and dont know where to start.
 
Hello! A Sony A350 was my first dslr :)

I have used a hoya IR filter on my dslr. Leads to long exposures and interesting results. Bit of a faff as you have to have the filter off to focus properly then put it on to sort out the exposure. Easier to do than IR film as you can at least check the results as you go.
